Supporting and helping homeless distressed veterans is more than a job to us, it's our mission in life.

 

Many of our staff are graduates of the Alpha Omega Veterans Services program.  They have faced abandonment by family and friend because of their issues, have slept in doorways, under bridges and in abandoned houses, hungry and alone. They have struggled with the demons of substance use.

 

We are here to make sure another veteran doesn't have to face those issues alone.

 

In this country, no person who has sacrificed themselves for this nation should have to go homeless, hungry or without needed medical care.

Every dollar helps!  The industry standard for a non-profit agency is that a minimum of 75% of the agencies total income benefits those served by the agency. Alpha Omega spends 81% of our total income benefiting the veterans we serve. We are very proud to say we make sure every bit possible goes toward supporting our veterans.

 

A $40 donation allows us to help one veteran for one day receive the following:

• A safe and stable place to sleep

• Nutritional food to satisfy their physical needs

• Clothing, toiletries and other quality-of-life essentials

• Access to services to help the veteran address the issues preventing them from rejoining society
