WHO DO YOU SERVE?

We proudly serve U.S. military veterans from all branches, regardless of when they served, who find themselves displaced or experiencing homelessness.


HOW MANY VETERANS HAVE YOU HELPED?

Since our inception in 1987, nearly 15,000 veterans have graduated from our program. While the majority have successfully reintegrated into society and lead fulfilling lives, there are still many homeless veterans awaiting our assistance. We remain steadfast in our commitment to expanding our capacity to serve more veterans in need.


HOW MANY VETERANS CAN YOU HELP?

Currently, we have a capacity to accommodate 94 veterans across our three facilities.eeds.

WHAT KINDS OF HOUSING DO YOU PROVIDE?

We offer three types of housing:
1.    Transitional Housing: Designed for veterans transitioning from homelessness, typically lasting 30-90 days. Intense services are provided to assist veterans in accessing necessary supports and reaching their goals.
2.    Supportive Housing: Permanent housing with staff available to help veterans maintain stability and navigate daily life. Veterans also receive support in acquiring the tools and skills needed to progress in their lives.
3.    Permanent Housing: Independent living arrangements where veterans receive minimal support unless requested. Veterans can reside in permanent housing for as long as they desire, with options including congregate housing, studio apartments, and one-bedroom apartments.
 

IS ALPHA OMEGA VETERANS SERVICES RELIGIOUS?

No, while we acknowledge the grace and blessings of a Higher Power in our twelve-step programs, our organization is not religious. The term "Alpha Omega" symbolizes our commitment to supporting veterans from the beginning to the end of their journey, providing the services they require for as long as necessary.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE VETERAN WHEN THEY GRADUATE?

Upon graduation from our program, veterans are free to pursue their chosen path. Many reintegrate into society, becoming valued members contributing to their communities. Several of our staff members are program graduates, with some choosing to continue residing in our permanent housing, while others embark on new adventures. At Alpha Omega Veterans Services, we view our role as that of facilitators, guiding veterans through transformation, empowering them to spread their wings and soar towards their dreams.
