Board Member

As an Air Force brat, Racquel spent her childhood with her second family – the military. After college, she decided to follow in her dad’s footsteps and joined the Air Force as a radar technician with the 87th Electronic Warfare Aggressor Squadron. The discipline and leadership skills she learned in the Air Force have helped her grow in her profession at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she is the Assistant Dean of St. Jude’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and coordinator of the Military Support Resource Group. Because of her passion for veterans, Racquel has been volunteering with military organizations and Alpha Omega since 2014 and joined the Board in 2020. Racquel has called Memphis home since 2008, where she and her husband (active duty Navy) are raising their son.
